Brain Sciences Building

The neuroscience building in Givat Ram is a game of interior and exterior space.
The building architecture with its inner boulevard of trees blurs the boundary between interior and exterior and the exterior landscape in response pays homage to the original Jerusalem landscape while preserving the topography of the campus.
A dialogue was initially started with Foster + Partners office about how to place the building within the site so that it would assimilate into the landscape. It was important to us to preserve the Jerusalem campus language characterized by bright colors and the Jerusalem grove. The surrounding paths becoming part of the campus’ road network and resemble a forest stroll, while overlooking the familiar Jerusalem landscape.
