Yael is the co-founder of Moria Architects – Studio Ma in 1987, which currently numbers two offices in Tel Aviv-Jaffa and Haifa, with a multidisciplinary team of 30 landscape architects, urban planners and designers.

She holds several degrees: MA in Architecture and Town Planning, Faculty of Architecture, Polytechnic of Catalonia, U.P.C, Barcelona, ​​Spain (2000). She graduated with honors in Landscape Architecture (B.Larch), Faculty of Architecture and Town Planning, Technion, Haifa, Israel (1982).

Working in leading landscape offices in Israel and Italy while developing her independent practice, Yael integrates work in physical planning, academia and curatorial-artistic work. Her work focuses on research and design of the public spaces in relation to its physical, functional and symbolic aspects.Since 1990 she has been teaching at all the leading academic institutions in Israel (Shenkar, Bezalel, Tel Aviv University and the Technion). In 2006, she was appointed as a faculty member with the rank of Associate Professor at the Technion. The position included teaching studio courses for advanced degrees in design. Since 2014 she has served as the Head of the Department of Interior Design and Environment and Dean of the Azrieli Faculty of Design since 2016 and was appointment as the Dean of the Azrieli Faculty of Design, Shenkar at the end of 2018.

Yael has delved into the world of exhibit curation since 2003 until today. Her practice delves into the realm of architectural explorations and the urban landscape. Her exhibitions and urban events explore the complexity of the connection between the architectural ideas and the and daily use of physical space.
Past exhibits include: curation of the exhibition ‘In the Public Domain’, a tribute to the gardener Avraham Karavan at the Helena Rubinstein Pavilion, Tel Aviv, and the Israeli pavilion at the Venice Biennale of Architecture. Founder and curator of the first (2008) and second (2010) Biennale of Urban Landscape Architecture Bat Yam. The biennale was a unique format and influential event in the field of local and global design. Working with public agencies, she has brought about a fundamental change in urban planning processes in the cities of Ashdod, Bat Yam, Be’er Sheva and recently Lod. In Bat Yam, shel helped found an urban laboratory for action together with the residents of Bat Yam (following the Biennale of Urban Landscape Architecture). In Lod, following a planning studio at the Technion, assisting and training a local organization in planning and working on the seam line between the residents and the municipal planning establishment.

These professional achievements have received international recognition and awards, as well as lectures at international conferences around the world in Barcelona, ​​Hamburg, Vapartel, Tokyo, London and other publications in catalogs and periodicals.

Research for the exhibition ‘The Kibbutz: Unprecedented Architecture’, The Israeli Pavilion, The Biennale of Architecture, Venice (2010).
Work in architecture offices (2007-2010). Since 2010, she has been working as an architect at Moria Architects, Studio MA, became a partner in 2014.

Development of a practice in urban design – with an in-depth study of statutory, local and national processes and their incorporation into urban planning. Work with public clients,including municipal authorities, government subsidiaries and national government ministries.

During her professional practice, Adi participated as a lecturer in several conferences on planning and architecture, and writing publications in the field of architecture and landscape architecture, with an emphasis on the public space in Israel.

Served as chairman of the Student Union of the Landscape Architecture , Technion (2003-2007).
Graduated with honors, won seven honorary or distinction prizes, for his work while pursuing his academic degree.
Recipient of the 2001 Rechter Prize for Excellence in Architecture for his work “Avodah Zarah” on the creation of a hybrid between a garden and an abandoned structure in an industrial area, as part of the Bat-Yam Landscape Architecture Biennale (2010).
Landscape architect at Moria Architects, Studio MA, since 2006, and a partner since 2014.
Development of a practice in urban design, with an in-depth study of ecological processes and plant landscapes as an integral part of the design in public and civic projects with municipal authorities, government agencies and others. A leading architect in a number of collaborations with international offices.
Visiting lecturer in Landscape Architecture, the Faculty of Architecture and Town Planning, the Technion, in design studios.

Alaa holds a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture degree (B.L.A) from the Faculty of Architecture and Town Planning, Technion (2008) , and a Master of Engineering Specialization in Conservation of Buildings and Sites from the Faculty of Architecture and Town Planning, Technion (2016)

Alaa served as Chairman of the Student Association of the Landscape Architecture track, at the Technion (2008) and was a personal supervisor in the studio for final projects in landscape architecture, Faculty of Architecture and Urban Planning, Technion (2013-2014). He also participated in and was part of a group exhibition called “110 Maps – People Dream a City” in 2019, to mark the 110th anniversary of the founding of the city of Tel Aviv

Alaa is a Landscape Architect at Moria Architects-Studio MA, since 2011. As head of the Planning Team and an Associate Architect, he specializes in development of practice in urban design with an emphasis on specialization. He similarly specializes in learning from the depths of the execution processes and construction of a large variety of projects, on different scales, which dominate a variety of areas: urban construction and planning, parks and open spaces, neighborhoods and infrastructure projects.

Working with public clients, including municipal authorities, a government subsidiary and more, Alaa leads planning teams in various fields.
